Components of Recovery and Cleaning System with Drum

  • Drum: A steel or plastic drum used to collect and store the used blasting media.
  • Vibratory Sieve: A vibrating sieve used to separate the blasting media from dust and debris.
  • Air Wash: A system that uses compressed air to remove dust and debris from the blasting media.
  • Cyclone: A cyclone separator used to separate the dust and debris from the air stream.
  • Dust Collection: A dust collection system used to collect the dust and debris separated by the cyclone.

  • Conveyor: A conveyor system used to transport the cleaned blasting media back to the blasting pot.

System Process

Used Blasting Media Collection:  The used blasting media is collected in the drum.

Vibratory Sieve Separation: The used blasting media is poured into the vibratory sieve, which separates the media from dust and debris.

Air Wash Cleaning: The separated blasting media is then cleaned using the air wash system, which removes any remaining dust and debris.

Dust Collection: The separated dust and debris is collected by the dust collection system.
